These presets are mid-gain/mild/smooth/classic-rock sounds suited to a wide range of styles.
The Atomic Amplifire is an awesome compact unit capable of delivering sounds to rival and match that of similar units of more than twice the price. The secret here is the cabinet IR! However, if you are looking for heavy or metal (djent??) tones these sounds may not be what you are seeking.
All my current (and main work-horse) sounds are from a Kemper unit. I have spent a great deal of time recreating these same sounds for my AF unit allowing me to take my sound with me when i need to travel light where portability is a major factor. I'd be more than happy to gig with either unit as they both give me the sounds i need so Im not going into a "which is best" debate. Each unit has its own strengths and features but you can check out the AmpliFire/Kemper sounds comparison, below.

None of these presets have been tried or tested on the AFB or AFBmkII. The understanding is that there is some compromise when used on AFB and no compatibility with the AFB mkII We recommend you try some of the free presets before making any purchase.
There is no direct import compatibility between the AFB or AF3/6/12 and AFBII. The behind the scenes differences structures are significant. The only preset conversions supported are AF3/6/12 to AFB (the original)

Clean PackNoticing a lack of clean presets available online and many users seeking the like, i've created and put together a collection of very useable clean presets. These all have new Cab IRs crafted using dual blended SM57 mics on a Marshall 4x12 cab. 15 presets are included in this "v6" collection as seen/heard in the video. Some are designed to break up when playing harder.

Evo PackHaving used a traditional set up of Marshall half-stack for many years i recently rediscovered and sought the sound i had used back in the day. Meticulously creating some new Cab IRs using a Marshall 1960A blending two SM57 mics (result = mono cab IR) 15 presets are included in this "v6" collection as seen/heard in the video |

Obviously, there many differences between a KPA and AF and i'm not going into a debate of which is better- they both have their own strengths. Consequently, there are small tone-differences owing to the difference in nature between these two devices.
Heres my KPA/AF/GSP audio comparisonI put the same "home-made" AF cab IRs into the GSP

To achieve the desired sounds for the AmpliFire meant creating custom cabinet IRs. The two sets of presets, (S pack and X pack) both have a very similar but one tweaked to suit a higher output guitar and the other to suit a strat-type guitar (as seen in the videos) The amp gain is the main difference between the "S" pack and the "X" pack. "S" for my "standard" presets and "X" for the "eXtra" gain presets. There are some EQ differences to compensate between the two guitar types used too. Any effects used (chorus, delay, wah, and solo-boost) are part of the parameters of each preset.
