Ok, let's be clear, at the time of writing this, there is no gadget or technology that can convincingly make an electric-guitar sound authentically like a real acoustic guitar. There are simulators that get a pseudo sound. However, we said the same thing about digitally modelling valve amps a few years back and look where we are now, so who knows what the future may bring...

The HX stomp has an acoustic-sim within its array of effects which can be very useful. You could opt for an external acoustic-simulator unit, a few of which are on the market. Other than carrying an acoustic-guitar in your arsenal and all the paraphernalia and effort required to mic it up a compromise is needed.

what we have here is a capture of an acoustic guitar body. This does not use the built-in simulator but rather the cabinet-impulse-reponse tool to recreate the tone from a real acoustic guitar.

All the sounds featured are mainly dictated by the impulse-response file (the cab IR) which are all included in this pack.
